As For Your Doc Goes, I'm Not Sure If He /she Was A Neurologist Or Epileptologist, I Think That She Myself Was A Neurologist In My Opinion,
What are your thoughts on the question here, I looked up online and found out that is a difference between the two, but I am ok with either of them being who they are and the treatment they give me, as long as they give me the proper way to go about the condition I and anyone else they treat, I am ok with that, what do you think here on the question asked?
A Epileptologist is basically a Neurologist that specializes in Epilepsy.
I’ve been told the epileptologist only specialize in epilepsy. I have only been to a neurologist though.
Right now I am seeing an epiologist (spelling), who is an MD who has specialized in epilepsy. He is amazing. We agree about how to treat my epilepsy and he is just an all-round great doctor. At first, I was a bit worried he was not a neurologist, but I have received treatment as good as my previous neurologists.
I know a neurologist is a doc. that specializes in the study of all neurological disorders and an epileptologist is also a doc. that specializes in specific disorder of epilepsy. They are part of the team to make severe actions or suggestions to do, such as surgery. Any word that ends in ology is the study of and any word ending in ologist is the person that specializes in that specific study.
I have been using epitetologists 20 yrs. They got me out of having 5-6 siezures a day. They have over seen my care since I have hard to control epilepsy. I was in the hospital once where they kept me and said I was statuselipcus I think I spelt that wrong but thay were pumping with meds had eeg stuck to my head and a video going. This of coursevis all hearsay because I don't remember any of it.
I'm Kinda Of Curious About This Epitologist And A Neurologist, Curious About, What Is The Dif Between Them, I Have A Doc, More Below
