When on earlier medications the memory play of forgetting at times did take place and how I attempted to "fix" was by using the vitamin Gingko Biloba with doctor's go ahead. We decided in the end the medication just wasn't worth using for my benefit then flipped it to another. What I can say about taking the Gingko, I actually found my memory improving and I could do better throughout the day. The medication is a big deal on what can be taken to help the memory. At the time I could take Gingko, we then changed to another type of medication so I needed to stop Gingko and never have looked for another but my memory is doing okay. So as I said, every medication works differently.

I would reach out to your specialist to hear their thoughts on over the counter memory medication then reach out to the local pharmacist just for a thought as they can give the okay there will be no reaction between taking it and all of your other medications. Hope the above helps.

Puzzles, games, and crosswords are commonly used to keep the mind active and to try to strengthen memory. I had to train with mental exercises, cognitive therapy after my TBI, to relearn how to remember. Last year, I subscribed to a website called BrainHQ that I had found, to try to give my brain a workout. You need a computer or tablet to access it though.

It's dif per person, I would suggest getting people's opinions here which is ok with, but then ask your doc about the question you are asking about and get a professional opinion on what you are trying to get, my opinion here
