I don't think so, my reading I do daily with my routine of prayer and bible study is ok I think, I looked up online my reading is 163 wpm which is the norm for learning as they rate it, there are other ratings but I am with that and not complaining about, may improve later but ok with, what are your thoughts about this ❓

I think because epilepsy is such a diverse disorder there is no one answer to this question. It is very individual. Some conditions have an effect on memory and cognition, while others do not.

That is true it does depend on what the area of the brain is damaged and the percentage that is damaged, and affects the wave it runs. Just don't put doubt on your skills unless you try hard. It is damaged area of the brain not fully dead. So that means it still does have some power left in that battery!

Does any remember the SRA reading comprehensive programs back in the 70 in elementary school ? I use to whip thru them in nothing flat. Now I just read for everything I can gey hands on. I have good memory for old numbers and passwords which is fortunate. ericthom3🖖

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, I know it can be having seizures from left temporal lobe. Things used to be difficult for me on memory. It seems though since decreased on meds and reading or doing puzzles has helped ... for me anyway.
