Brenda6, I don’t think there is any medication that does not have side effects. Briviact just made me extremely tired, and spacier than the other meds and epilepsy make me. It works for some. Also, my depression became worse while I was on it, and I developed the anxiety I now experience. My Dr took me off Briviact and referred me to a psychiatrist who understood about epilepsy and epilepsy drugs. But this was all before and after COVID.

Janice3, I’m wondering if there is ANY AED that doesn’t have negative side effects. Doc wants me to take a small dose of antidepressant and same thing. One pill to counter side effects of a pill ! Lordie-loo! Wish a big fat donut would work …
