Some people may experience seizures from the stress of moving, change in climate and maybe the change in the environment

I moved from just north to just south of Houston. Didn't bother me a bit. I especially like that we have breezes here there are pecan trees, lots of palm trees and oak trees line the street. Very pretty. North was all pine lots of them and big they blocked the wind. @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member we go to Colorado to visit my daughter and last trip we took a mini vacation through the Rockies before we got to her house. I ended up in The Frisco hospital after having numerous seizures in the car thankfully but Don was worried so they told us high altitudes can bring on seizures. I thought this strange since I've never had a problem before. They said it can change with age how well you tolerate it. They highly suggested I ge below 6000 ft for the night and we went back to pick up our stuff and warned our daughter to expect us that evening.

Yes, I do think moving to the South from the North caused me to have epilepsy. I would not have had extreme stress living in the North. I would have lived near family, and friends and been able to get out of the house daily and go places walking on sidewalks or using public transportation.

The nervousness of learning all new locations and environments could cause stress and cause seizures
