Tell 'em you'll trade. You have the seizures instead of me and I'll give you all the attention you need.

Many people will say we are looking for attention, through our seizures. Especially the people, who don’t believe we truly have Epilepsy.

It’s not that we are looking for attention , it’s more like attention finds us. People end up starring at us, having no clue what really is going on nor do they know what to do..

I know it’s not good, but when I can tell someone is talking to me a certain way because they know I have epilepsy and I want them to walk away, I act the way they expect me to act because of their ignorance.

I understand what you mean. I started having seizures when I was 10 years old so there were all kinds of things I couldn’t do having seizures. I still have to live with my parents in my 40’s and can’t do a lot things normal adults can do.

No, I don't I have fallen down a mountain and had to walk it off an gotten injured , I fall skateboarding ,walking, getting out of bed. Ect. But my point is I don't intentionally but my self in danger for giggles or fun 🙃 nor attention. In fact I'm sick of being epileptic can't do the outdoors studies program at UAS here in Juneau, Alaska Liabilities to the school. Sucks
