Has Anyone Ever Had Or Have A History Of Somniolquy A.k.A. Sleeptalking. It's A Sleep Disorder But Can Be Caused By A Number Of Things.

I had it every early morning for years and sometimes in the middle of the night when my dad was still alive and with us. AED's can cause it along with restless leg syndrome and stress and anxiety:emotional and sleep apne. Sleeptalking I have done since I was a kid. I rarely do it as an adult. I never did sleepwalking but my daughter did and 2 of her boys did when they were young. None of them have epilepsy

This is very much like a blackout one while awake, also compared to sleepwalking. The conscious mind is on hold till the brain gets back on track, interrupted by the seizure, not caused by meds.Of course talk to Dr to ease mind more for yourself too.

Reading everybody's reply it makes me wonder if I should do a sleep study. If it would help me any with my sleep talking or sleepwalking. I think maybe I'll bring it up with my doctor if there's something that needs to be looked into further.
