I'm sorry but I can't read long messages my eyes are failing but it's been painful having to deal with all my issues alone... No support system or even anyone who cares.

Dave, I am single and never had a child. From what I have been told. (I am the oldest of 9 and aunt of 32.) there is no pain that matches childbirth. However, I did have a life threatening car accident just over 3 years ago that included several broken bones and a long hospital stay. While I was in rehab, I managed to get a kidney stone too, so I understand the pain you felt there. As I could still not walk to even try to go to the bathroom when it happened it was pure agony. A nurse finally wound up using a catheter to help me pass it.
My Dad has always had a problem with kidney stones, but I had never had one. I suspect some of the pain meds, etc. that I had been on for the broken bones and surgeries had caused the problem. I could recognize the symptoms with no trouble at all though!
