No way is only the frontal lobe is affected by seizures that may or not start there. Please consult Dr for best info from real tests to help understand your own best as well.

Frontal lobe epilepsy (FLE) is a type of focal epilepsy where seizures originate in the frontal lobes of the brain. The frontal lobes control important cognitive functions like reasoning, planning, parts of speech, and movement. FLE seizures can cause a variety of symptoms like head/eye movements, yelling, laughing, body posturing, and repetitive movements. FLE is the second most common focal epilepsy after temporal lobe epilepsy. It can be caused by brain abnormalities like tumors, strokes, trauma, or may have a genetic component. FLE is challenging to diagnose due to overlapping symptoms with other disorders, but MRI, EEG, and PET scans can help identify it.

I don’t agree with that listen to drs only, legal reasons sure, but if I had been able to listen to advice from other people earlier & not “just taken drs advice” I would have been saved a looot of problems.
I’ve had great ones but I’ve seen a few dodgy neuros who totally lack the skills for epilepsy issues.
Also further the studies aren’t always that good.

As a case point I’ll post about estrogen & period increases on full moon’s (& seizures too is likely certain ) “lunacy” & how drs have said “wivestales” look at the data! And been totally wrong with the obvious told to them by their female patients for a 100 years.

Their data on full moon’s & epilepsy says it’s nonsense “lunacy” too but they’re wrong & just people doing the best they can do.
Which isn’t always good or much better advice than a patient would tell you, & can discuss in more detail

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member All I did was give a basic response of what frontal lobe epilepsy is in general which is what the question was.
