Does Anyone Have Seizures That Comes In Cycles Ie.. Like Every 10. 20. Month Or More Before The Next Comes Along?

Yes, many people with epilepsy experience seizures that come in cycles. According to the research cited, between 7-21% of people tracked their seizures had weekly cycles, while 14-22% had cycles longer than 3 weeks. 64% were found to have more than one seizure cycle. The research also showed peaks in seizure frequency around 8am and 8pm each day. And for those with weekly cycles, more seizures occurred on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The studies concluded that circadian rhythms likely regulate seizure cycles.

It's dif per person, I agree with the epilepsy team post and others and their opinions they give out,I myself have not noticed any patterns of what you are asking about, I do have my condition and seizures that come up with me, but haven't noticed anything out of the norm, they happen time to time and once in a while at random times I think, but I think that they are more stable than before and I am ok with that and so is my doc, it also depends sometimes as well but nothing I will worry about, If it becomes a concern for me I keep tabs on it and do something about it, and let my doc know as well, hang in there and try and stay pos, my opinion
