Stay away from the big political news channels ( CNN , C- SPAN , MS NBC and ect ) .

If you watch tv shows or movies ( Comedy , Drama , Action , and Ect )
Listen to the radio or music that can keep you relaxed or in a good mood .
Find some time to yourself, for some quiet time or just relax . Take a short break on daily routines.
Go outside if it’s nice out . If you like the cold , more power to you.
Read a book.
Play video games if you like that.

These are just ideas off the top of my head

Stress is something that will will always be a problem. To address that problem, try, first of all, to remain calm. Tell yourself that you have control over how your body and mind respond to to it and simply make a determined effort to remain calm, evaluate the cause of the stress, and instruct your body (and mind) to remain calm. There are levels of stress, some of which are beyond such self-control, but most are within the realm of your control is you just stop and think about the situation. It's not an easy practice to follow but what is the alternative - become the victim of the stress? Whatever you do, don't allow the stress to dictate your reaction-you have that ability.

Everyone has said it so much better than I will. But staying away from the stress, although sometimes impossible, is the best thing. I am going through a very stressful episode that seems to have an end in sight, YAY!! But as soon as that is over I have to start dealing with my mom and I live in another state and can’t drive. I just have to say patience and grace.

I agree with you and your post and the other people and their posts, I agree with people that mention about it hobby or a routine of some sort that will help you take your mind off your stress, I have a routine of prayer and bible study and I feel it does help me out of my stress and such etc, but try to find something you like and adjust to it and it'll help you out with the situation at hand, but that is my suggestion and your call, but hang in there and try and stay pos, don't stay at that level, I have been there but don't stay at that level for just a little bit if you can, leave it at tackle it later if you decide to, but hang in there , we are here to help each other out, my opinion here
