Diet and exercise is the only way. Have a diet high in protein, low carbs and sugar, lots of good fruits and vegetables. Potatoes, corn, peas, and bananas are high in carbs and sugars. Sweet potatoes are better for you than regular potatoes. Use monkfruit as a sweetner. It is natural and tastes exactly like sugar. Cut out fast foods and all sugars like pop, candy, and desserts.

As for exercise, ask your doctor what is best for you and your body. There could be other things going on in your joints that could be hard on you at first. Walking is always safe.

I agree with you post and the other people's posts here on the question here, but find something that you are comfortable with and it's ok with doing it, get advice from you doc and then go from there and stick to it, my opinion, hang in there and try and stay pos, good luck with that

BMnazik, I had thought about trying either Atkinson or slim fast plan.

I too gained a lot of weight due to my meds. I’ve tapered off a few so that has helped . I also eat more protein and no junk food. I’m also gluten free that seems to help as well .
