Does Anyone Have Good Advice For Frequent Partial/focal Seizures? My Memory Doesn't Want To Work
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member
I’m over 40 years and I’ve lived with my parents all my life. There’s no way I could live a life by myself either. Thank God my parents are still alive. I have focal onset impaired awareness seizures. I started having memory problems too the moment I started having seizures. Some of our brain cells die when we have seizures effecting our memory.
Well my fiance, and now a app on my phone helps too. There's no way I could do it alone. Thank God for the people who love us.
You are welcome, anytime
Thanks Dave this is exactly what I needed to hear, get out of the negative side of things. I really appreciate you're answer.
I agree with you and your post and the other people's posts here, I have general epilepsy and seizures, nocturnal ones time to time and petti mal, and grand mal once in a while, but it's dif per person I think, my current condition I have mem disorder also from over the years since my diagnosis at 7, I don't let it get to me and am not complaining about it, It's a little bit of a inconvenience I think but I take into consideration what the cause of it is, my mem is a 1 on the 3 scale being the best and i don't remember quite a few things, people, places etc, but that is not my fault, it's something I learned from and accept with In my life with, some people in my life will be asking me about certain things and events and such etc but I have no idea what they are talking about, and sometimes do, then I will have what they ask about to me I have come to me out of the blue a little bit down the road a couple days or weeks later, but I'm ok with that, I am with my current condition and such and so is my life and doc, my opinion here, I hang in there and try and stay pos and so can you my opinion
