Thank yall for the information. I've been having them for about 5 years strong now, so I'm still pretty new with this but I am willing to learn all I can.

You’re welcome. Several of us, including me, have had seizures for over 30 years so we share our experiences with one another. If doctors ever brought up a Neurostimulator (RNS) I could tell you everything about it because I have one. I also lost all my remembering abilities right when my seizures began because my brain cells died. There’s lots to learn.

Generalized seizures affect both sides of the brain at once and often cause a loss of consciousness. Focal seizures originate in one area of the brain and may or may not cause impaired awareness. Sometimes focal seizures can spread and turn into generalized seizures.

I am one who’s seizures start as focal (left side) but expand to general (both sides) (Bilateral Seizures)
