Has Anyone Had Success With The Inspyre App For Apple Watch/phone? I Would Like Alerts When I Can’t Be There.

My dad is currently in a nursing home and it’s looking like that is where he will be staying. 😞 I don’t trust their level of monitoring or the actual seriousness of his epilepsy and seizures. I am interested in getting him a watch or device that will alert my son and I.

It can send alerts to designated contacts when it detects these seizure types. Since your dad is in a nursing home, having a device that can alert others when he has a seizure could provide an extra level of monitoring and peace of mind. Other options like the SeizAlarm app for iPhone and Apple Watch can also detect seizures through motion and heart rate changes. An armband could securely attach the phone to your dad's body for monitoring. These types of apps and devices have limitations, but could still help track seizures and provide alerts.

I have no experience with a seizure watch, from what I read the Embrace2 seizure watch sound good to me. Welcome to the group. I trust you will get the help needed. Just my opinion, I wouldn't trust nursing homes to keep a close eye on your dad either.
