Debilitating Constant Fatigue- Does Anyone Suffer From This?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
South Salem, NY

Have had this fatigue for quite a while. I get enough sleep. Had several sleep studies done, and I have positonal sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome. I take 350 mg of Nuvgil every day, which is how I get through the day. Have not had a seizure since 10/11 and my neurologist has lowered my epilepsy meds a bit. But the fatigue has not gotten any better. Anyone experience this? And if so, how have you coped?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

Sunosi is another relatively new stimulant that I take in conjunction with the Nuvigil
Has helped a lot.

South Salem, NY

My cognition is getting worse and worse with my epilepsy. Has anyone had professional cognitive remediation, and if so, did it help? I'm aware that dementia is linked to long term intractable epilepsy. Trying everything to keep the cognition from getting even worse. Thanks!

I have started with high grade mushroom powders, it seems to be sharpening my mind. Thanks for the info on solfeggio, it on Spotify, even though I can never remember the name Spotify🙃
