Could Taking Too Many Different Meds Be Increasing The Frequency Of Our Seizures?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi everyone!

I'm taking 4 different meds in the morning, three different meds in the afternoon, and 4 in the evening. Has anyone ever been suspicious that so many different meds may actually be increasing our seizure frequency? I've been doing some research and certain siezure meds in conjunction with other anti-convulsants may actually cause seizures. Do your neurologsts just keep adding new meds to your regiment or does he ween you off one while adding another?

I was on 8 different meds when I found out one of them were causing seizure activity in the brain and I stopped it myself and things are better then they were.
