How To Answer That Question
Does anyone else always get asked "Are you feeling better now?" in the days after an attack?
I never know how to answer it, the truth is my attacks are so random that I'm often feeling exactly the same and thinking about this makes me worry more
Normally I answer, "yeah fine", but I just think people should think it through more. If you saw someone in a wheelchair, would you ask "are your legs feeling better?"
Just frustrates me
If it's my first seizure in that day I'll tell them I'm ok . If it happens a second or third time then I may tell them that I'm not really ok . And that I need to get a hold of a family or friend .
I hate that when people do that to me or make me think about then and most of the time I don't even know I had one till someone tells me cause I don't remember them most of the time
I get that too. I say that takes me a couple of days to fully recover as burns all my energy up. Best way I can put it. Need to sleep now as have head ache but don't think I hurt myself so will be fine.
Does get a pain at times and know how we all feel. Just wish people who don't have epilepsy had a better understanding of it.
I always get asked that aspesally when they say did you hert yourself when you have a black eye or they can see that you have hert your hand or something else they can see it always seems a daft question ❓ to me
I get asked all the time by my family it does my head when I had 1 and all I what 2 do is sleep after I had 1
