During a seizure i feel like I'm having a panic attack, I struggle to breathe or my breathing is irratic and i feel as though I will pass out.

I don't feel the hot and cold sweats but do panic. Was with my friend yesterday she didn't panic at all when I had one as she's got medical experience but I do recall her saying that I should breath

I do the same thing. Glad to know I am not losing it. It is such a vulnerable scary time. This connection with you all has kept me sane. I feel like everything I go through and feel someone has been there. I am sad others struggle this way. Dont wish it on anyone but glad we have a place to go.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I get very emotional and cry after seizures. I'm confused, frightened and often can't place who or where I am for a short time and will cry and apologize. I don't know why but I'm told I often repeat 'I'msorry '.

I normally cry after too. Not knowing where I am or who people are even when they can be close friends.

Certainly sounds like a seizure to me. I can tell mine aren't panic attacks because I get (as strange as it sounds) what can only be discribed as an electric shock feeling from my head that makes me go anything fron just all prickly feeling to a full muscle seize up wich can last anywhere upto a minute
