Is an aura actually a seizure?

I just went to the Neurologist about this Epilepsy, today and shared some things I've learned through you all....he thought it was great to hear about such people and programs there are to help me and you others, so I want to thank you ALL for your support and working like this as a TEAM.

Yes! It is generally the beginning of the Brain Activity before it spreads to your whole Brain (more or less) or specific parts, depending on which, can the generate more Seizure activity; therefore, in turn, can become a useful Warning. The 'type' of Aura and associated feelings, physically and emotionally, depends on which area of the Brain that they arise from.

I got this from Google it's very interesting I got strange smells so I see I did experience aura.
The aura is perceived just before a seizure

Aura is the feel of a seizure coming on. I'm sure many of you have felt a seizure coming on and then it goes away. ...that's called "aura"....you didn't have a seizure if it comes on and then goes away within a few seconds.
