Yeah, maybe it's because I sit with my legs crossed a lot, sitting in the lotus position in my chair studying or doing research papers. It is most comfortable for me so that I can concentrate better. I am not supposed to do this from my hip surgeries. A big no-no for me. Never quite got out of the habit. DUHHHHHH!!!

Edema is a circulation thing and a cardiac thing it can be a side effect of some medications but not to that extent I would check it out with your doctor especially if you're having that much fluid in your shoes and soaking your pants this is a serious circulation and cardiac tissue. You should not be having that much pitting edema. I hope you get this all taken care of and I wish you the best.

I notice when I'm having frequent seizures I have edema in my legs and my face gets really puffy. I always attributed it to the fact that I'm laying down a lot more than usual and not on my feet as much.

Hey, I noticed that when I bought some new sandals online. Got them in yesterday and one feels tighter around the other. Never noticed...but my toes are a little swollen too. I'll ask my neurologist...I did get a full blood check and was told salt levels were fine....
