Does Anyone Get A Headache?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Crawley, UK

Sometimes I get a headaches and they feel like I've been hit round the head with a hammer, with these ones they'll only last a few minutes.

But after I've had a seizure I have a headache like I'm hungover that's how I feel and no pain killer will help and my dr won't prescribed me with anything to take for these sort headaches.

Oh, boy do I get headaches. Always have. Right after a seizure. My Dr. used to give me hydrocodone but, since they were moved from a schedule 2 drug to a 1, he won't give them to me anymore. What he did give me in it's place is Rizatriptan 5mg. It works pretty good. Hope this helps.

I have the same thing as of yet the only thing I have found that helps is sleeping. But it could take any where from 1 hour to 12 hours depending on how bad my seizure was. Hope this helps.
