Headaches are very common with Keppra. Headaches are one of the side effects from the medication along with anxiety depression and loss of appetite.

I need to get back on Keppra. Since I've switched insurances, I've been put on generics and whatever the generic of Keppra is, something w/a weird name, works but doesn't. I'm trying to find a new doctor. This is what happens when SSA thinks you're a normal person and cuts you off. I never had side effects from Keppra; it was my normal drug. I think it just hyped me up/made me easily irritated. But being on two other meds, I didn't know which one to blame it on, haha. I just hope you feel better and I think if it's too bad, you can be switched off. I think.

When I first took Keppra I had headache. But when my body got use to it the headache went away.
