Does Anyone Who Has Seizures Suffer From Sensitivity In Fingernails During Manicures?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fredericksburg, VA

My manicurist is telling me that I am overly sensitive to her procedures. I consider her to be rough, but I want to be fair. She tells me that my sensitivity is a side effect of the medications I am taking to control my seizures. I have read the side effects of the Topiramate and Lamotrigine ER and see nothing to indicate this as a problem.

I have no fingernails to manicure. I am always tearing up my nails due to nerves. I am on Toparimate and I am sensitive to things.
