Even with my coworkers wearing name tags, I still can't remember their names. Or, my favorite one, calling someone by another person's name and their is no physical resemblance what so ever. Jean is from Haiti and Umar is from Pakistan -no resemblance and not even in the same department. I hate that. I end up dodging names or giving silly nicknames to compensate.

I don't have trouble spelling but I do have trouble remembering words for things and actions also names which can be a pain in the arse when you have good friends and you can't remember their names especially when you play field hockey with them and you want to get their attention during the game and even when I'm on the side line !!!

The original question as a re-read it was spelling words I was going to answer yes but I was thinking of my next epileptologist apt and telling her how bad things are getting- my wife has a list of stupid questions I keep asking, unlike some people I'll bounce between long and short-term memory-a la by the time I finish this I'll forget the original question or what happened yesterday I ran into my brother and neighbor but didn't recognize him said hi and kept walking

My memory has become that bad that not only did I forget I had my last 2 seizures I forgot my son had spent a night in hospital due to a nasty hit playing football, I found out through a ' see your memories ' post on Facebook, worst of all I was the one who posted it in the first place!!
I forget the word for something sometimes but not spelling.
Also I have to write on my medication because sometimes I forget if I've taken it already.
Overdosing on Lamictal is not something I want to repeat .
