I Have Right Temporal Lobe Epilepsy And I'm Currently On Vimpat. Anybody Out There Have Vivid Or Weird Dreams?

I have right temporal lobe (lesions on the right side)epilepsy and I'm currently on Vimpat. Anybody out there have vivid or weird dreams? Some of mine are extremely life like and some are weird enough that I probably would tell them to anybody. Some of them stick in my memory even when I wish they wouldn't.

I have been on at least 10 different medications in the past 50 years. About the 20 years ago when I come out of my daytime seizure I remember the same things. I see steps a couple of people I can’t make their faces. I am trying to figure it out what it is but I can’t.
So my point is I don’t think it is just one kind of medicine.

I just started taking Vimpat so I can't speak for it's effectiveness, but ever since starting it I've been having very intense and weird dreams (well, all dreams are pretty weird). Some borderline nightmares (sort of). I've not had dreams like these before and they just started, so I assume they're Vimpat related. I'm not even up to full dose yet.
I take Keppra also, and was taking Depakote for about 10 years before they switched me to Topamax. Topamax completely stopped ALL seizures (I was still having simple partial seizures occasionally) But I had to stop it because of extreme tinnitus and memory problems.
After I stopped that and started Vimpat, I had 2 Tonic Clonic seizures within a couple of weeks, in my sleep, after not having any of those for about 7 years. I assume that's because I was just on Keppra alone for a couple of weeks.(?) And that's when the dreams started. I was about to contact my Dr. about it.

Don’t take Topamax. Vimpat was bad enough & too much for my mind to handle. The side effects I had on Topamax was loss of appetite, lost weight, confused all the time, couldn’t think straight, irritated, angry, violent, mean, took me at least 1 min to answer a simple question like my name, acted doped up all the time, tired, lazy, slurred speech, negative about everything, made me lose 15 lbs. in a quick amount of time, couldn’t remember some thing & if I did it took me too long to remember it, memory problems, never hungry, ruined my relationship w/ my husband almost almost got a divorce, placed me in the hospital, And they went crazy. Topamax is a stimulant so it’s for losing weight not mind. Unfortunately I lost both & more. I’ve never been the same since I stopped & I was on it 3 1/2 yrs the 2nd time. Vimpat wasn’t any better I got off that right away too. Whatever you do don’t go on Topamax a lot of people may say the benefit & does great things but if you haven’t adjusted ur meds for a while it will change you & your personality completely. Trust me. Also, how ru w/meds? Does your body responds well w/taking meds by not having seizures or do u still have alot of seizures & possibly grand mal seizures??
*Read up about Topamax before listening to ur dr. Don’t believe ever dr bc everyone responds differently to meds. But it’s not worth taking the med and trying it out and then finding out it was a big mistake. Once u go forward u can’t go back.

I have been on Vimpat before . I didn’t last a month with it.

Now, when I was on Potiga , I had more dreams , than I did with my previous meds. I would have 3 to 5 dreams a night. They were all kinds. The Nightmares , dream about the day Events before , Vivid dreams dreams that just don’t make sense, very weird dreams and I could keep going. Every night , I would have those many dreams .

When I switched to a new AED med I went back to my normal amount of dreams ( 1 - 2 times a night ) .
