Has Anyone Ever Dealt With Hair Loss Because Of Keppra Or Any Seizure Meds?

My hair loss lessens when I take lots of vitamins, so maybe better eating habits will help. And it certainly can’t hurt.

I was only on keppra for a few months but I have really thick hair and you could tell I had some hair loss with it. I found that keppra made me super angry though and had to be taken off of it.

Yes Ma'am, mine was more from malnutrition, and not being able to constantly hold food down!

You’re not alone. I’ve had terrible hair loss from E meds. It’s SO discouraging. I look at least 10 years older And I hate to look in the mirror or have my picture taken. On the bright side - the meds are controlling my seizures. And I suppose I could get a wig at some point (ugh!!). Right now it’s ponytails and baseball caps. There are quite a few YouTube videos with styling ideas for making the best of thinning hair.
