My sympathies friend. I have had seizures since 9 and was diagnosed at 15. I would just end up in classes I had no business being in. I had no idea who teachers were and sometimes even my name when asked by an EMT. I can tell you the color of wallpaper in a house my folks moved out of when I was 3 or what I got at my 3rd birthday party. Lol Now since my short term is so bad I have my household planner for my “day fog” which saves the day all the time. I also wear a really long tag that can’t be seen with my name, address and phone number on it. I hardly leave my house these days but I strongly recommend a day planner of some sort with a phone alarm telling me to check it. Pinterest and ETSY have free prints and are designed beautifully. Good luck with everything.

I started having seizures where I would lose sensation in my mouth for hours, which was new . And I couldn't smell any thing either. But at first I thought it was just me getting older I was gonna turn 41. But thanks to this site I found out that seizures can effects different things. I quickly copied it and sent it to my daughter and family.

I recently had an issue with memory that I posted a question about. Completely forgot what I was supposed to be doing for about 2 hours. Was very scary. Went to 2 classes with no memory of who I was teaching, what I was up to and what I was supposed to be doing. Fortunately I bluffed my way through. Fortunately has been a one off but was terrified it was early onset of Alzheimers or the like.

This happens to me after a severe siezure or if during a siezure I black out and fall, the length of time varies, damage to my memory varies, but some examples have been from least hours missing time to, people deceased, relationship being over, completely forgetting my sis and kids. But yea sometimes it can be funny other times not so much.most recently I forgot how to write for about a day including spelling .... I was very sad had to ask for help from my daughter very humbling
