To be truthful none as when I looked up to having one of them they cost thousands and thousands of pounds to have and you don’t get to pick the dog they choose it for you and that’s even if you have the type of epilepsy that a dog can help with because if not they won’t give you one but I instead have been training my cocker spaniel how to help me when I have fit so what I do just out the blue I fall to the floor and start shaking when it just me and him in the room so I have his full attention and he comes up to me to see if I’m okay and then a few mins pass like Ive just started waking up from my fit but I say his name but in a low voice like I need his help and so he comes sit next to me again and I start fitting again and once I stop he learn to start crying and licking me to see if he get my attention but when that don’t work he will start to bark and keep barking as when I’m out there more likely for people to look and here a dog bark then my low voice after having a fit and sometimes I even hold my breath as long as I can so when he puts his face up to mine he can’t feel me breathing what will also teach him to get help for me to so it better of just teaching a dog your self if you have trainable in you

I have a Havanese, she's amazing. My seizures aren't as bad as they used to be before my surgery, so she's not trained to be an alert support dog. She's def emotional support (which to me counts) she will sleep all day and night right by my side when i have migraines. Total velcro dogs. Also Havanese have hair not fur so they don't shed like most pups only the hair here and there like a human.
