Has Anyone Used A Med That Works Well, Has Few Side Effects, And DOES NOT CAUSE HAIR LOSS?

My son is 17 and on Lamictal. It's working, but he has incredible hair loss. Kepra did the same but didn't work for him.
Are there any good drugs that work well, have minimal side effects, and dont make your hair fall out? Thanks!

Try CBD oil made from Medical Marijuana.
Charlottes Web out of Colorado or
ACDC strain
You are looking for high CBD per mg/ml and low THC
It can be taken under the tongue or put into empty capsules.
It can also be vaped.
Get it from a dispensary that only sells CBD oil
Try Haleighs Hope made from Hemp and legal to ship to all states.
They have good reviews online
You can try and get FDA approved Epidiolex from your doctor but your insurance may not cover it

There is a fairly new one that ive been taking sincs May called Vimpat that didnt have any weird like shakes or side-effects for me as I started taking them. They’re a part of my daily medical routine and since like May ive been much MUCH better (there were other factors at play too). The only problem is that they are SUPER expensive, even in Canada.

The gods-honest truth though. Smoking pot DOES help. I refused for a year, but it a HUGE help.

If not smoking pot, then get some kind of CBD oil or something.

Try a Biotin supplement at dinner time.
I take both Lamictal & Keppra. I experienced hair loss as well. Blood tests,etc...no answers. After doing my own research, I found out that many antiseizure meds cause low Biotin. You need Biotin, but your body doesn't store it. So you have to replace it with a supplement.
In conclusion, my hair has significantly stopped falling out. It's still growing but slowly. PS, I take 5000mg.

Marijuana does help. But be mindful and try to get weed that is not super high in thc. I get arm shakes but everyone is different. Found cbd oil to be more effective personally.
