Cameron Boyce Dies At 20 Due To A Seizure.

I shared an article that I read on the news, on Facebook. Only 1 person shared it. I don't know if Cameron died of SUDEP or not but his family did say he had a seizure in his sleep. It makes me SO mad that NO ONE else shared this. Its like it doesn't matter. Am i just being biased? I feel like it should be shared. Not just because he is on TV, but to bring awareness to the devastation that seizures can cause. Not just death, but life disruption and anxiety and a whole list of things.

His parents were on GMA this morning. More able to discuss now.
First seizure at 16 1/2 yrs. all were when sleeping. This was only his 5th one.
Had dinner with parents, was texting with dad and having a good time talking about lakers, until 12 am.
Last seizure 15 months ago. Had a mobile EEG done with no results.
Had been taking pills since first seizure.
Kept his condition quiet and personal.
Cam wanted to set up an awareness foundation.
He had just moved in with best friends, also Disney teen actors.

Its sad, but it all comes down to seizure management. But if u dont know your triggers, and to avoid alcohol, and take ur meds ect... Epilepsy must be taken seriously. So if u cant recognize these, u really dont know what to manage
Education is key. Unfortunately with Epilepsy in most including myself its here to stay.

I read this morning at the Daily Mail and MSN
"A family spokesperson confirmed the ongoing medical condition was epilepsy."

I read that the Autopsy was completed. At the same time they are still unclear and still investigating his death. They only say that he had an ongoing health condition. I think they knew what his condition was.

I have 2 strong possible theories . He may of had a brain Tumor or he did have Epilepsy.

If he did have a tumor and should of been kept in a hospital until it was removed. They new he had a health issue. Sounds to me they didn’t do a thing about it.

If he had Epilepsy they didn’t do enough tests nor have him on any medication to control the seizures.

He would probably still be alive. Then again , if he knew that he had Epilepsy and was recently diagnosed, then he could of been in the denial and stubborn phase and not be taking the meds prescribed to him by his Dr. Going from what he knows as normal life to a life of seizures is hard to deal with..

People shared it- just not on this platform. If he did die of sudep it’s better to raise awareness amongst people that don’t know - Facebook I’ve seen it LOADS. Don’t be mad, it’s something you’re passionate about but not worth raising your blood pressure. Annoy people with knowledge, it’ll catch on at some point which ur friends
