A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

What are the effects? Please only Keppra takers who have mixed light alcohol with this medicine 😁

I too drunk enough beer and wine when I was younger. I now only drink plenty of water and weak tea with lemon.

I did occasionally when I was on Keppra. No side effects. My neurologist said it was okay in moderation.

Yes I have. I must say, I have never experienced a side effect but a good nite of rest and. Be careful and dont try to over do it. Keppra will let you know who is in charge and how much your body can handle.

I drink low alcohol and zero alcohol, I can’t really see the difference in either, it’s just nice to sit with a drink at the weekend thinking you are drinking the real thing.

I've just read a comment about drinking with seizures and it read "drinking with seizures can kill" well yes it can but you've got more chance of being killed just by drinking. This does not mean that if you drink with epilepsy your going to fit every time it's a bit like that saying "don't throw stones in glass houses" i'm not going to hide in the wardrobe because i've got epilepsy are you? Don't let it run your life we could get invaded by Aliens tonight and they could enslave the human race HaHaHa
