How Do Feel About The Blue Badge Parking Permit Wheelchair Design?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

What do you think about the wheelchair design that's used as a disabled sign?
I have a blue badge parking permit and people assume that if you park there it means you use a wheelchair. I've had a few arguments with people who are extremely dim thinking you're only disabled if you can't walk.

So many times I’ve had this battle.
Either ignore or better enlighten people to what disability actually means

Here in New York it doesn’t matter because nobody drives. However I have lived in the west coast too and everyone drives everywhere. People are way too uptight about where someone else gets to park. Forget it, park the car and don’t worry about the person with the blue tag. People are petty

I agree I have had arguments because people think you should be in a wheelchair. Also have you noticed disabled parking bays getting smaller?

I'm for it also if I could get I could use it when I do get sick grocery shopping and other things like that but I don't have it so I have to walk pretty far sometimes.
