Hi ,I agree with mantle on this I worked for the NHS.My department used to make all of their staff feel guilty about having a day or two off sick ,just so ,on their precious end of year graphs ,our dept had a low level of sickness I used to go into work.when I was completely ' spaced out' I was working with children & their parents I couldn't do my job properly ,so I'd have been better off staying at home x

If it won't cause a problem with your job, stay home. I had a lot of times when I knew I had reports that were due, meetings to attend so I went to work and told some of my friends to keep an eye on me or be ready for me to ask a favor.

Britny yes you should call your job for absent. If you feel a seizure is going to take place (and we all know what that feels like) then call. It may be better to tackle the seizure at home rather than at work. If you have a seizure at the job there is a chance you will be ask to leave for the day. And that might lead to letting you go.

If you aren't feeling good. You should call into work. To request a day off. Giving your workplace enough time notice. So they can replace you for the day. If they need to replace you. Be careful & hopefully if you do have a seizure. You'll be in a safe place. Not hurting yourself or anyone else around.
