Headaches After A Tonic Clonic

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Wichita, KS

Ever since I had my first tonic clonic seizure almost a month ago, I’ve headaches almost daily. Does anyone else have this issue or is this another thing to discuss with my epileptologist? My warning before the tonic clonic was a cluster of myoclonic seizures. And I drink water literally all day long, and zero caffeine.

Nothing is a constant for everyone, but you will find that most of us (myself included) will tell you that we have headaches after any seizures. I even get headaches after simple partial seizures (especially when I have barrages of them).
