Smart Watch Apps
Does anyone use a smart watch app to notify caregivers or family members of their seizures? I see there are a few available. The only approved watch is the Embrace 2. I am looking into using a smart watch with a app.
Hi @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , Check out the Danny Did Foundation website & look at where you can apply for a grant for a seizure Epilepsy watch or device. Go to www.dannydid.org & click on the 3 lines in the top right corner & then click where it says “Devices” & scroll down a little & you’ll see where it mentions applying for a grant for one of the Epilepsy devices that it shows as you scroll down a little more. If you have any questions feel free to contact the Danny Did Foundation. Your friend in Texas, Becky
Thanks for the responses. All of the information is very informative. I guess the reason I would ever want someone alerted is if I'm alone or when I finally move back out of my parents house.
I have a apple watch i use My medic watch app seizure alert. I find that is a good app but i also find that its very sentive to all seizures even the ones that i didnt even realise i had.
