A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does music or noises cause seizures?

I have noticed that a few of my seisures have happened when there was loud music playing. Also when listening to music via my headphones I sometimes get a ringing/odd noise or feeling (probably an arura). Ill pause the song and it will go away under 30 seconds.

Yes, that is something that I have been told about as well. I don’t use headphones often, but when I do the volume is low.

I have been told not to play music 🎶 very loud in the past. That may be a matter of opinion between Dr.s, but playing music to loud or the tv 📺 volume up to high do give me a migraine headaches. Good Luck in the future.
