Does Anyone Feel Different Or Odd
A lot of people I know say that but I feel normal even though there's no such thing.
Some people think they get stared at as walking? Others my face isn't normal. People will discriminate me if I have one. I can never make a friend. Low esteem
How do you feel?
Am I odd not feeling like above? I misworded the question first.
The thing is people don’t realise how common epilepsy is nearly every family has a relation that has it by an accident or born with it in there genes
The feeling of people staring is sometimes a result of one of the most seen side effects of epileptic medication which is having anxiety. So try not to think about it so much, it could just be the people that you think are staring are just checking you out
We all feel this way, well I also feel this way because most of my life as soon as someone finds out my little medical secret they don't want to deal with me. I've lost so many relationships that I can't even count. I mean it's hard to understand and deal with the fact that I had sex with someone and woke up in the hospital and the doctor telling me
" oh your so lucky that a female found you in front of her house ". I'm telling you from my own experience lots of people get scared. I'm not going to lie and tell you that I've learnt to deal with it all, I do cope but it hurts a lot. It's stuff like this takes a serious toll on our self esteem. I myself I was running away from people but I'm learning not to be so afraid of people who are afraid of my epileptic fits.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member that is what they went through when i tell um i have epilepsy. and they are actully suprise that i have 4 types of seizures.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member a redneck weirdo and proud of it! lol. and that is why i do videos... cause 1) i cant speek well when i am 'on the spot' saying something. and 2) stupid is as stupid dose... meaning i will give you the facts. you dicide if that fact is the fact or fiction.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member i had the oppiste effect. the school cares too much. when i went up to teachers always say 'take it slowly, you dont wanna be seizing agian' or when i am reaching and someone walks over and said while getting set idem, 'let me get that, dont wanna seiz in class.'
