Nasal Spray

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do any of you use something that you smell or nasal spray that helps you disrupt an aura? My doctor prescribed Nayzalim nasal spray. After insurance, it's still very expensive. I didn't get it. I'm looking for other options.

Yes i was prescibed nasal spray to stop my if over ten minutes. Mine were coming in as clusters , i couldnt tell when they started or ended. Had to use it for the first time about two weeks ago . It definitely.helped them to stop. Thank God. I wish you the best .

Have had it used on me 3 times and it worked every time. I do dislike the drip down my throat but a whole lot better than an ambulance ride

Tye nasal spray is an interesting idea, but the only thing that ultimately disrupted my auras was a vagus nerve stimulater. It completely changed my life and gave me a sense of control, which I didn't have before.
