Anyone Have A Goal But Can’t Complete Lack Of Motivation?
I’ve been trying to lose weight for 2 years now probably 3-4 honestly but losing pounds is definitely a challenge and building motivation is hard so usually I just listen to Motivational Music or something that describes a fight in a song. What do y’all do for more motivation? When you want to change.
I oh wow this is a difficult question. Because I'm gonna be honest I lack motivation myself lately. I'm a fit person to be honest that isn't a problem for me, but motiving myself for other reasons like Dr appointments or friends birthday party's ECT I find I just have to do. I don't like being around crowds or where I'm not too comfortable. So I will even make excuses. Not to do that kinda thing when it comes down to it. I just have too. Or I miss out.
As for pulling ourselves out. Talking finding those things that make us seek. That which we want to do not just for ourselves but to help others. I find once mine was the medical field. Now Christianity. The medical field broke my heart. Christ I know won't.
I've been experiencing a loss of energy and motivation lately. I don't really know of its stress/depression or what. But it really sucks and I don't know how to pull myself back out of it.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member same.... i get the 'what if's' a lot but ether my family/friends/i say 'screw it' and i do it.
weight loss is one of my hardest things... tryed everything but the weight cept coming back. the main struggles for me is... i live with my mom (or vise versa) and mom likes to snack in the evenings. and mom would grab something for me too. that is my downfall... snacking at night. but the weather is almost spring (usa) and its walking season. i usually lose what i gain over the winter season.
