Do you find wearing these give you piece of mind ?
I've just ordered 2 one for my asthma and one to say I have a seizure disorder just in case if I'm on my own and have a seizure people can know what's going on .

It’s a very good idea to use a medical bracelet or necklace. Especially If your condition(s) are serious. Someone can see the bracelet and when EMTs arrived ( if emergency was called ) can also see them and know what they are dealing with.

I feel that it gives me a little piece of mind, but I kept breaking the bracelets like leather strapped watches, thus I have a Medic Alert necklace. And it notes that I have Epilepsy and Diabetes II. I also have papers in my wallet with a list of all of my medications, all of my doctors and my emergency contact numbers so that hopefully (if none of my family is with me) that the EMT, nurse or doctor has all of the information needed to best treat me. At the moment, it is currently not because of the Epileptic seizures (though the Focal Onset Impaired Awareness Seizures (complex partial seizures) have gotten me into some problems that it was a challenge to explain because I had to play detective before being my advocate because I hadn't realized that I had one. I no longer have auras before them or full seizures. Thus, it is whether someone else who has seen how I was acting or what I (my subconscious mind) said tells me about them, otherwise, I have no idea that I was having them. At the moment, I am only a couple of days left since the last seizure that I had (April 25, 2022) and if all goes well, then I should reach 1 year seizure-free status. This is obviously nothing compared to friends on here who have been seizure free for decades, but it is also unimaginable for friends who have never been seizure free for more than a day or two. However, I am a source of Hope for the latter considering all that has happened in my Story. God is helping us out when we least expect it. I certainly would not have initially believed that in June 2003 with what I experienced. However, when I had time to think about it and realize that the first day in June that I began taking the daily dosage of 1600mg of high blood pressure medicine instead of the Tegretol that was supposed to be in the bottle, then what other explanation do you have that on the Monday of that week (neurologist appointment) and the Friday of that week (primary care doctor's appointment) my blood pressure came out as on target, rather than the first dosage --in addition to my daily dosage at that time of about 15mg--sending my systolic rate to zero (or below, if possible) and no idea about the diastolic -- since I don't know what the dosage was for that.

I do think it helps bring piece of mind, not only for myself but my wife feels better if I wear it when I'm out as well.
