What Are Careers/jobs Best Suited For An Un-dependable Epileptic?
I seize once or twice a month right now. I'm not dependable. I've lost 4 positions so far and I've just been hired for a Remote CSR position with a division of BlueCross BlueShield. 8 weeks of training and it was EXTREMELY stressed that I CANNOT miss a single day. It starts 08/07/23. Last seizure 07/22/23. It took all of 5 days to recover. I'm scared. I've applied for SSI & SSDI as instructed. I'm not holding my breath. So... what are jobs best suited for folks like me?
Basically it's either hustling from your current estate, or prostitution possibly over the internet...🤣😂🤣 I don't know that there's much in which you CaN do while having epilepsy.. any company will just say you are too much of a "liability" to employ. Probably from threat to injury. I've tried to think past the challenge and overcome the unemployed psycho drama which comes with being on SSDI. Gotta live the minimalist lifestyle, and savor each of your purchases cause you won't get much for benefits. And it's only one direct deposit a month. You still gotta pay for your health insurance (BCBS) as well which is a large chunk of your payment. Don't forget.. you WiLL get denied the first time you apply for SSI/SSDI benefits. Keep trying and follow the new criteria they serve to you
Congrats on the job! I looking for that position too. However my pcp hasn't done enough paperwork for my SSI/SSDI to go thru praying on that. That is the type of position for us. So we can still work and be on our comfortable spot. That is what is needed! That is where the medication and all the emergency stuff is located
Following lol..... na seriously this is a question that I seriously need to find out. I was in retail in a very fast-paced job and always knew I was going to have to leave at some point. I actually left last year to go to another job then had a sudden TC and now I can't really go back to my old job because the worry is that I was most likely having seizures without knowing and the job I was doing may have been triggering seizures.
For me, I just made sure it was a desk job.
I Was Told I Couldn't Work Anymore So I Had To End Up Hiring Lawyer Due To My Extstensive Health Issues,But When I Did Have Jobs They Were In The Medical Field, A Teacher In A Child Care Facility I Worked For Convenience Store.
