Are There Groups For Caregivers Here In My Epilepsy Team?
If there are, where do I look and how do I connect? Thank you, parent of a fourteen year old daughter with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, ADHD, autism and more.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , You can click on where it says “Meet Others” & then click where it says “Filter” & then click where it says that you have a child with Epilepsy & then you can click on any other symptoms you want & when done click search & it should bring up team members who have kids with Epilepsy. It might have a few pages pop up in there of pages of those of us with Epilepsy instead of the caregiver but most on the list likely will be caregivers who are parents. I’ve given you these 2 page names before of parents but here they are again: @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member (has a 17 year old son nonverbal with Epilepsy & Autism), & A Mom with a daughter @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member & we have a new team member Mom who has a child with Epilepsy & here is her page @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member . Your friend in Texas, Becky
Contact the Epilepsy Foundation. I am waiting for a new place to live, I can’t live alone, and I’m too old to keep living with my parents. So assisted living is the answer for me. I am waiting for a call from someone to tell me a place is available for me to move into.
Excellent query, @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member. I’m looking for independent living with an advocate to check on my health and handle my finances.
Yes. Is There A Site For Spouses? I Am Dealing With A Husband That Doesn't Understand My Seizures.
What Exactly Is Sudep?
Do You Have A Group For The Spouses Or Parents Of Epilepsy People.
