How Frightening Is It To Live Alone With Epilepsy?
I am currently living with a family member. I am wanting to provide a home for myself, yet I am very scared, and so is my family member.
I haven't lived alone for quite some time, due to filing for disability, I wasn't able to work and had no income. Now that I have been approved for disability and there is some income (not really much to live on) I want to live on my own again.
What precautions are there for me to take?
what advice can be given to me?

I am also on disability and wanting to work a couple of hours a day. But yet again, I am afraid of this too.
I just really want my life to go back to the way it was before this "EPILEPSY" thing. Independence...
Take care of yourself. Take your meds on time and get plenty of sleep. If you have lived alone before, it shouldn't be any different.
It's also nerve wrecking that housing is so expensive. The little I get on disability isn't really enough to take care of myself let alone food, water, gas and electricity... Plus, the extras like clothing.
Worrying leads to depression which leads to anxiety which leads to seizures....
I can relate, but hang in there and stay pos,
Being alone is scary. When I had Covid (thanks germ kids), I had to quarantine. Totally afraid something would happen. I did have a seizure in the house once and accidentally took off my jeans, but not shirt. Husband found me walking in the kitchen like Winnie the Pooh! Scary then, funny now.
