Yeah!! Are you going to try to cut out added sugars and high fructose corn syrup, when you try it out??
Honestly a cup of green tea with some raw honey for a morning boost! Quick easy smoothies were and still are my go to. I don't do fancy, just frozen spinach, blueberries, 1teaspoon of MCT oil, and kefir and blend it together. But eggs, avocadoes, cheeses. If you like fish, like salmon, which is good healthy fats and omegas out the wazoo. Lentils, mushrooms, beans, nuts especially walnuts, sweet potatoes, asparagus, broccoli, brussel sprouts, etc. And tons of water throughout your day. I was eating small meals, sometimes 6 meals a day. But like i said, i had to quit it because of weight loss issues. So, that might not be the best plan for you. Definitely do your research, too!!! I know it's a strange diet to think of yourself taking in ideally 70%fat, 20%protein, and 10%carbs. But those are good, healthy fats and good complex carbohydrates ☺️ but your brain will like those healthy fats and carbs. And try to go for honey, dark maple syrup, and stevia for sugars. There are so many other good foods to aid in this, that im sure so many people on here can vouch for, too! If you don't particularly like some of the foods i named, then please know there is so much more out there! But MCT oil for sure! It will feel very foreign to your body at first as it craves those other foods it's been used to. But once you have gotten out of that phase and transitioned into ketosis, your body will hopefully begin to not even want to look at those foods anymore and your body will begin to crave healthy fats, sugars, carbs! I truly hope it helps with yout seizures if you take this on! If anything, i hope your body begins to feel less pain, lethargy, swelling, or any other thing you might be suffering from💜 You've got this! And you've got all of us on here cheering on!

I have! I loved it, and it worked out really well for me! I started feeling less joint pain, swelling, and mental fatigue! I have a VNS implant and have a metabolism that makes it really hard to keep weight on. So, i stopped ketogenic and went to gluten free, where i still feel relief. The keto diet didn't work for my seizures, though. But it has helped a lot of other people in that regard.Definitely do your research before starting!!! And if you have any liver issues, it might not be a good thing to try. The first few days are rough, just because your body is missing those sugars and empty carbs. But once you reach ketosis, your body starts to feel the changes. Biggest thing for me was getting a high quality MCT oil, finding lots of healthy fats, and finding lots of good complex carbohydrates. I hope it works out well for you if you go through with it!!!💜

My gosh this is hard to try. I tried a few days n no idea but it left me dizzy and more hungry. Eeeks!!! Water intake is always my downfall. You add any flavor to your water??? I ain’t giving up just hard. I love fruits though so that’s been easy.👍

Got any food ideas? What is your daily food intake, your favorites then and what you don’t like. Best times best to eat?
