Has Anyone Ha Neuropsch Test For Memory Problems?
I had test day one day. I have had 2 brain surgeries and only on Xcopri.
They will do it next year, I was normal because of surgeries but working on other area of brain not effective. Going stay busy!
I've had Neuropsych tests before and to dispel anyone's worry... DON'T worry about it.. There is NO "passing" or "failing" these types of tests. Actually, the lower the score is on their scale means the more help and resources to turn to. Those tests are pretty much meant to fail. It's just to analyze where your cognitive function is good and not so good at functioning. The tests take a while to complete which makes it stressful and seems like it's a vital thing to "pass", but it's not that type of test. There is no "final diagnosis" with a psych test either. Your brain CAN and does heal. Granted it may take a little longer and more doing than other organs of the body, but through practice and rest it can get better. It seems as though Sleep the night before is a big determining factor in test scores as well since the tests are so lengthy, and that can be stressful. Especially within a hospital setting... Somewhere I do NOT like to be at
I had one for cognitive decline. My cognitive thinking is fine. My memory is fine, it just takes me longer to retrieve the memory. If you are able to get the testing I would. The information is invaluable.
Yes . I have Done 3 diferent times . To see where I am with Cognitive, and speed of memory responses, and remembering a previous answer that was given to me . The Psychologist would do this to me a few different times.
My test was for 8 hours. I had it 4 hours on 2 separate days
These Neuropsychological tests are definitely tough!
