You are none of those things and you docs should be there and have your back. I am going to catch heat for this but it sounds like you need to have a come to Jesus meeting with all involved but in a polite way. You will not be ignored.

I had the VNS operation. I didn't notice any change for me. I believe that may because I don't have auras. Yes, it does turn on and off on its own and they do give you a magnet so you can turn it on for yourself whenever you have an aura. I believe the reason it didn't work for me is because I have no aura, so I depended on just when it turned itself on then off.

Personally, the most difficult aspect is the struggle in getting prescriptions refilled when the number of refills has run out. The prescription is out of stock…doctors office won’t return my messages…the pharmacy hasn’t faxed a refill request to my doctor…the doctors office is closed…the pharmacy is closed?!?…the pharmacy has no record of my prescription…the doctors office changed its phone number…the pharmacy hours have changed…the doctors office hours have changed…the store is closing and prescriptions will now be filled elsewhere…. It makes you feel worthless, forgotten, ignored, passed over, not considered…. It makes you feel as though you’re not meant to get better. This continually happens in order to keep us unwell so that they can be rich off of us. We’re told to take our meds religiously, yet we’re kept from doing so. Sorry, it was one of those days when my glass was half empty instead of half full.
