What Feels Best: Taking Your Medication With Food Or Just With Water?
Food! I feel stoned if I take Keppra on an empty stomach.
I always take my meds with a meal because they can upset my stomach
I need to eat food first and then can take the medication. This prevents me from feeling stomach sick and sometimes nausea
I take my meds before breakfast and dinner.
If you're talking about medication for epilepsy I take mine with a form of liquid: water, milk, or tea.
Some of my other medication for diabetes and prostate I take with food.
I take mine with water followed by coffee and a couple of cookies or cupcakes. ericthom3
