If not, then I need to share with you what GOD has shared with me: I don't have any lost memories. Rather, it is just the challenge to access them by the hampering of memory recall caused by Epilepsy itself (even if you are on no medications and have not had a seizure in decades) in addition to the natural degrading of memory recall for most human beings (more so for Epileptics) and then the side effect of brain damage (to memory recall, NOT memories in storage, which is the case for all of us… read more

It has taken me time over the years by learning from asking questions to my neurologists, epileptologists, and particularly my Mom because. My point is to be your own advocate by learning about epilepsy and your personal epilepsy case.

This may be a difficult step to take and that is quite okay as it is not something that can be done overnight. The goal is to slowly learn how to better yourself in such a way that can be managed when difficult issues come about, that is where doctors, mentors, and those who care for you are valuable persons to speak with frequently. I have discovered in my own situation, it is best to have an open mind and be prepared for a long journey of learning as there are many roads, hills, creeks, and small towns that may be walked through on your learning journey.

Be strong as strength will builds character and passion. You can do this! ❀️

GOD has done all of the significant work. I am just sharing what I learn as my brain progresses over time from the reboot brought on by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

We all have memories of the past, but if we want recall something we can over time, we must do it slowly after a while it will come back, into our mind.
