Briviact Medication Pricing
I have been on Briviact for about two and a half years. It has made a world of difference for me in both seizures and my anxiety. (I think the last med I was on was contributing, and I didn’t realize). I know it’s newer and there is no generic, but does anyone know of other ways to get savings? I have their brand prescription savings card, but it turns out that card is for a certain dollar amount. With my new insurance, I blow through that annual savings amount in two months. My wife is on brivaracetam but as we are classed as serious disabled we don't have to pay in the UK.

Are you eligible for medicaid. If not. I would check if you were eligible for any other public assistance. I have humana at the moment & it covers it completely
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, Briviact is a controlled substance. And there are no savings on medications controlled by the government even if you have a pharmacy card, it does not apply to a controlled substance medication. I am not sure how old Briviact is but i have been taking it since 2019. It has worked for me along with an additional drug. Last time i checked 2021 and asked my pharmacist, there were no plans to create a generic version of Briviact. It is what it is.
